Our Theater

New Musical Theater of San Francisco’s primary venue is “The Alcove Theater near Union Square,”  414 Mason Street, Fifth Floor, in San Francisco. A 49 patron, flexible performance space, The Alcove has a modular, raised platform stage consisting of 7- 4′ x 8′ rectangular sections and 2- 4′ x 8′ partially curved sections that can be configured thrust-style (24′ x 12′) or in other shapes, like “in the round.” The theater is also equipped with a 24 channel (48 channel XY) DMX dimmer system connected to 14 LED Par 64 fixtures and 8 60-watt tungsten mini-pars on a 1-1/2″ pipe rig. There is a 6 channel stereo audio mixer, a 5.1 sound amplifier and a 5-speaker system.
